When outside of the recording studio, Sticky can be found in a number of motion pictures and television shows. His career began in 1993 when his cousin and fellow Onyx member Fredro Starr played the lead role in Strapped, a film by Forrest Whitaker. Sticky got in the camera for only a few seconds for the film, but it has been an uphill success ever since.

Sticky's most notable roles are Tyrone, the escaping inmate in Ice Cube's Next Friday, Martin, the slain solder in Dead Presidents, Scientific, the drug dealer in Spike Lee's Clockers, Jeremy, the eye-patched plane crash survivor in Flight of the Pheonix, and Kearn, the hardcore rapper on FX's television show The Shield. He was also one of the lead character's on FX's hit program Over There as Maurice "Smoke" Williams. He has also provided his voice acting to the video game Def Jam:Fight For New York playing himself. Producers of the game called him "The craziest, most energetic out of all the rappers we worked with on the game".
