Kirk 'Sticky' Jones plays Maurice "Smoke" Williams in OverThere, a soldier who's been stoned for most of his young life, and is constantly in search of his next high. New to Iraq, Smoke has a strictly us-or-them attitude towards the white soldiers in his unit and he's not thrilled when Angel, another brother, refuses to play his discriminatory game. Quickly plunged into disaster and chaos, Smoke decides to go in search of beer and drugs, an outing that is an occasion for disaster.

His broad list of film credits include leading roles in Flight of the Phoenix with Dennis Quaid; Hard Time next to Boris Kodjoe; Leprechaun:Back in the Hood; Next Friday alongside Ice Cube; True Livin' and Dancing in the Dark. He was seen in supporting roles in Ride with Cedric The Entertainer; Gas, LAX, Dead Presidents beside Chris Tucker; and Clockers next to Harvey Keitel, among many others.

On the opposite end of the entertainment spectrum, Jones took on roles as a series regular on
Showtime's Bar Car and UPN's Platinum. His numerous other credits include guest starring roles on CBS's CSI: Miami, the Emmy® and Golden Globe® Award winning FX drama series The Shield, CBS's Nash Bridges, UPN's The Parkers, FOX's New York Undercover, Just Cause, Twilight Zone, Ride or Die and MTV's The Lyricist Lounge.

Jones is also an accomplished rapper. From 1993 -1995, he was a member of the hip hop group ONYX. His musical achievements with the group included a Soul Train Award for Best New Album and The Source Award nominee for Best Album. With ONYX, he has performed on The Arsenio Hall Show, The Ricky Lake Show and The Vibe Show.

Jones is a Brooklyn, New York native and resides in Los Angeles.
